Vision and Mission |
| |
|
Nuclear Oncology Institute is a scientific organization that
brings together the resources of academic centers, hospitals,
clinics, imaging and treatment centers, research laboratories
and industry entities invested in the fields of nuclear medicine
and oncology. The objective of the Nuclear Oncology Institute is
to foster scientific creativity and productivity towards
development of novel and effective techniques for cancer
diagnosis and therapy. |
| |
|
Scientific Direction |
| |
|
A panel of expert scientists including five Florida
International University faculty and two scientific advisory
committee members guide all of CRI’s research and development
decisions. Only the most compelling and competitive research
projects are selected to receive NOI support. |
| |
|
Accelerating Discovery Through Collaboration |
| |
|
Through its paralleled clinical investigation programs such as
the liver cancer imaging and therapy, and Neuroendocrine Tumor
/ thyroid cancer imaging and therapy programs and the
Coordinated Cancer Initiatives, NOI convenes and directs
international teams of scientists and clinicians who work
together more efficiently toward shared goals. |
| |
|
Funding |
| |
|
Nuclear Oncology Institute’s funding comes from donations,
earned federal grants and industry support. The funding grant to
the institution was provided by Rinker Family Foundation. NOI’s
donors can be certain their gifts will make the most impact.
